Who Is Eligible:	All volunteers are required to submit a background check each year.
Available Services:	Volunteers work in DISD school libraries, classrooms, offices, and workrooms. And with computers: assisting librarians, assisting teachers in the classroom, helping individual students or assisting office staff. Orientation and training provided. Guest speakers are welcome at every school to share a craft, hobby, occupation, or travel experience. Other volunteer opportunities include home-helpers who work on craft items, cut letters, or tape record in their home.
